How to build rapport with your email subscribers

Email marketing is GOLDEN! No matter what you hear, just don’t believe it when anyone says “email marketing is dead”.

Despite the many advanced online marketing platforms that have arrived, the old school email marketing still works best.

It is because, email is a very personal way of communicating with someone – unlike a blog post or a social media update which is addressed for the masses, an email is addressed for a specific person.

You also get the privilege of landing directly into your subscriber’s inbox!

But no matter how effective email marketing is, it won’t get you ANY results if you don’t build rapport with your subscribers.

Without a connection – a bond, your list subscribers are just email addresses in your email autoresponder software.

Only when you build that connection you can do your marketing the humane way – which is personally my favourite way.

It is only then your subscribers will be able to listen to you so you can do business with them.

So how do you build that rapport with your list subscribers? I share 4+1 tips in this video. Watch the video and let me know your thoughts in the comments below!

    Hi Jane,

Great tips and I so agree with you, email marketing is so important. I’ve been working on improving my email conversions because I want to grow my email list.

I’ve been focusing on improving the relationship with my subscribers. When I first started growing my email list, I was scared to email them.

I wasn’t sure what to email them and it has taken some time to get comfortable. I’m getting better and I make sure to email them at least once a week.

I’ll be sure to watch your video to get more tips on how I can improve the relationship between my subscribers.

    Have a wonderful weekend 🙂

    Susan

      Hey Susan,

I can very well related to the “scary feel” you get when you send out a newsletter. I also double check to make sure the email doens’t have any typos etc. It does take time to get comfortable with sending your subscribers something useful.

Have an awesome weekend Susan 🙂 Thanks for stopping by!

      Cheers,
      Jane.

    Hi Jane,

Enjoyed the video and you shared some really helpful tips.

Similar to others, even I was afraid to send newsletter with a fear of getting spam reported or unsubscribe.

However, I’ve started working on my email marketing tactics and 2018 will hopefully be the year I hit a major milestone.

    Thanks for sharing.

    Hi Jane,

It’s been awhile. Glad to be on your blog again.

Sure, you are right. Email marketing still works. Though chatbot is seriously competing with it but what I have discovered is that both of them have their respective roles to play.

For instance, I noticed that most chatbots have word limit. Not just that, people hate reading long message. But when it comes via email, they are more likely read it.

    Thanks for sharing.
