Blogs don’t make money by themselves. Businesses do!
Starting a blog on a topic (niche), doing keyword research and publishing a few blog posts won’t make you money.
Of course you could earn some pennies here and there if you manage to put up a couple of Adsense banners and get some people to visit your site.
But that’s all about it. People won’t come back to your blog and stick to it unless you have something solid to offer.
And if you have something to offer –something that can solve the problem of your target audience – you can call that a business.
People will be happy to listen to you, they will buy your products, pay for your services and so on.
You can help them and make money while you are at it. That’s what I call a business.
Not something that achieves a one-time “deal” with your audience. Not something that they come, pay and leave (and never come back).
But rather you want to build something solid, something that fulfills your dreams and something that achieves what you wanted to achieve with your blog.
Great! You have saved the trouble of wasting hours on creating pointless content and hitting people without knowing if they are your target. If you continue doing this you will waste hours and hours of time, money and effort for nothing.
