Are you the one who is always worried about things to accomplish? Do you have so many things to achieve but simply could not find the time? Are you so disturbed and hence has no peace of mind? You probably don’t know 3 simple secrets that could save you a lot of time. These steps would appear to be so trivial but the sad fact is that, no one cares to implement them.
Plan
Do you have one? If not just have one. This will ease your mind in the first place.
Instead of not knowing the exact route or the steps involved to achieve something, anything may appear to be impossible. Planning incorporates three basic things: 1. Divide, 2. Allocate and 3. Write down.
Divide – Your main task is something big. Just divide it into small steps and either make the small chunks into sequential steps or just make random chunks that can be accomplished simultaneously so that the results can be brought together.
Allocate – Once you have the small chunks, allocate time for executing each chunk. Be reasonable. Don’t choose to write your thesis introduction at 2 in the morning. Choose the right time so that each chunk can be executed in an efficient way.
Write down – Write down what you have planned. Write the task, the time it has to be executed, the duration and also a deadline, if applicable. If you write your plan down, you remember it better.
And, a plan which is written down is given a visual form, which is a good motivator. Don’t forget to cross out items in the list after you accomplish them, this will give you a great feeling
A big goal without a plan will seem daunting; and it totally destroys your peace of mind.
Commitment
If you aren’t committed to your plan you will not be able to complete tasks in the time you assigned them in your written plan. Say you want your task ‘collecting customer address’ needs to be completed by the first week of the month in order to complete your project successfully.
If you aren’t committed to your plan, you won’t finish it by first week, it may take up to an extra week or two to finish it. This brings all kinds of added pressure since you may miss the deadlines. So you need to really rush up towards the end. You certainly will lose your peace of mind.
When you write down your plan, be committed to it and be honest with yourself. This will avoid unnecessary tensions that affect your peace.
Positive attitude
Think positive. Learn from your mistakes. Use your failures as stepping stones. Make good use of genuine criticisms and neglect the false one. Don’t try to please everyone. Don’t get de-motivated by obstacles.
Always work towards overcoming those obstacles. Positive thinking will give you a peaceful mind that does not worries about failures, obstacles or criticisms.
Develop one. Positive thinking cannot be developed overnight, it comes by practice. The more your learn to think positively the more peace you can celebrate.
How does this work for you?

Jane well said.
Goal setting has helped me achieved a lot. But I’ve also realized that you’ll do yourself more harm than good if you’re not realistic when setting goals or making plans; because if you keep failing to achieve all you’ve planned to achieve on certain days, then it starts to affect your confidence. You become hard on yourself and condemning yourself for failing to keep up with your set goals whereas the goals simply weren’t realistic in the first place.
But on the other hand if you first take into consideration all your day to day activities before setting specific goals and make sure the goals you set can often be achieved within the time you have to spend, then you’ll mostly be meeting your set targets and the satisfaction that comes from that is just great. It builds your confidence and pushes you to achieve more.
